We want to celebrate the Lebanese people who take matters into their own hands. To join us, simply upload a video of yourself walking. Every walk will help unlock $75,000 which will be handed over to the five resourceful projects below.
This is the story of five resourceful individuals who stopped waiting and decided to drive the country forward.
Created in 2016 by Charbel Daghfal, Wheelchair Taxi offers the physically disabled an easy, quick and safe mode of transport. With your support, this resourceful organization will reach its ultimate goal of being easily accessible all across Lebanon.
Launched in 2012 by Zeina Saab, Nawaya identifies young people from low-income backgrounds and connects them with mentors, trainers, internships and employment opportunities. This resourceful organization is currently supporting more than 700 youths, and you can help it grow even more.
Compost Baladi was launched by Antoine Abou Moussa during Lebanon's trash crisis. It turned a nationwide problem into a valuable solution by promoting the recycling of organic waste. Its vision has only just started to take shape, and you can help make it a reality.
After a water crisis damaged his crops in 2013, Antoine Skayem didn’t wait for a solution. He created Riego, a device that makes sure crops get just the right amount of water for a healthy growth. With your support, this resourceful project can expand and reach all of Lebanon.
Lebtivity was launched in 2012 by Randa Farah to offer a snapshot of the Lebanon we’re proud of: a country where amazing things are taking place every day. You can help it spread its positive message even further.
What is it that keeps this country going? Truth is, you don’t have to look too far: you are resourceful by nature, and the resourceful don’t wait.
